On the Marina side of the hotel, Aikens has created a serene, coastal Mediterranean-style restaurant, Alba Terrace, that transcends day-to-night, offering the finest, handcrafted beverages, light lunches and sharing plates to linger over whilst bathing in the natural sunlight that streams into the space.
Upon arrival to Alba Terrace, guests are greeted by a large brass clad aperitif bar. In the morning the scent of freshly squeezed citrus fills the air and as the day unfolds, small plates and light aperitivo.
The vibrancy of the Aperol Spritz bar invites you in, while the informal sharing menu encourages you to dive in as the hours go by unnoticed.
Tom Aikens is one of the UK's most acclaimed and inspirational British chefs.
His remarkable career took him to David Cavalier's in Battersea, Pierre Koffman's La Tante Claire, Joel Robuchon in Paris, Gerard Boyere's in Riems and Pied-à-Terre to name a few. It was at the latter that Tom became the youngest British chef ever to be awarded two Michelin stars, aged just 26.
After 5 years at Pied-à-Terre, Tom went on to open his 1st immensely successful eponymous restaurant, Tom Aikens (2003-2014), which won a Michelin star and rising 2 star in 2009.
